Some questions aren’t about seeking truth — they’re designed to trap, trick, or troll. That’s exactly what the Sadducees tried with Jesus in Mark 12: “Hey Jesus, what if a woman had seven husbands… WHO gets her in the resurrection?”
Their goal? Make the idea of resurrection look ridiculous.
Jesus’ response? “You are quite wrong.”
In this message, we unpack what happens when human logic crashes into divine truth. You'll discover:
Why religious people can still be totally off base about eternal life
How the resurrection reveals God's mind-blowing power
And why resurrection isn’t wishful thinking — it’s rooted in God’s Word and His character 🙌
Whether you're skeptical, seeking, or just want a deeper understanding of the resurrection — this one's for you.

Phil Bradbury continuing our series on the Gospel of Mark.
In Mark 12:13–17, we read how Jesus’ enemies didn’t confront Him head-on, but their plan to trap Him started with flattery.
They wanted Him to slip up, to say something so they could arrest Him. But Jesus was rooted in truth and couldn’t be swayed by praise.
Flattery can still trap people today. It can feed ego, blind leaders and take the focus off Jesus. That’s why we must discern the words, the compliments and the prophetic words that are spoken over our lives. Test them, compare them with Scripture and take them to Jesus.
Don’t chase applause. Don’t edit the gospel to make it more appealing. Share the whole truth (not just the easy bits), but share it with gentleness and love.
May we grow in becoming God-pleasers, not people-pleasers

Ever felt like someone questioned your authority—like, “Who do you think you are?” Well, Jesus knows exactly what that’s like. In this gripping encounter with the religious elite, He’s not just flipping tables—He’s flipping the script on power, pride, and pretense.
Join us as we walk through a fiery confrontation, a prophetic parable, and a powerful promise of redemption. This episode unpacks:
The challenge to Jesus’ authority—and how He turns the question back on the questioners.
A vineyard parable that hits a little too close to home.
How the rejected Stone becomes the Cornerstone of everything God is building.
You’ll be challenged to lay down the illusion of control, confronted with the weight of divine authority, and comforted by the truth that Jesus didn’t come to condemn—but to redeem.

Ever felt like a vending machine Christian—plenty of lights and buttons, but nothing nourishing inside? Jesus had a word (literally) with a leafy fig tree and a bustling temple, and both scenes reveal something deeper: God’s not looking for performance—He’s looking for fruit.
In this powerful message, Pastor Ben Norris unpacks three truths that will challenge and encourage you:
🌿 God is looking for fruit, not just leaves
🧹 Jesus came to clean house, not tweak a broken system
⛰️ Faith + forgiveness unlock mountain-moving prayer
Jesus doesn’t just point out what’s wrong—He becomes the solution. The curse-bearing tree. The true temple. The forgiving King.
Imagine this:
A church full of fruit-bearing believers.
A prayer life powered by faith and free of bitterness.
A house of God where grace, justice, and joy overflow.
Let’s be that people.

Tom Scrivens from Hope Church, Ipswich preaching from the book of Acts Chapter 9.
Tom shared that across the UK, churches are experiencing a growing hunger for Jesus.
Don’t believe the lie that no one wants to hear the gospel. There is a hunger that the secular world cannot satisfy. People are searching, and Jesus is the answer ✨
In Acts 9, a man called Ananias trusted God’s voice - even when it didn’t make sense. What would it look like for us to live like that?
God is moving. Let’s be a people who are ready, listening and obedient. Ready to go when God calls us.

Ian Remfry continued our series on the Gospel of Mark.
He shared how in Mark 11, Jesus asks the disciples to go and get Him a donkey. It was… quite an unusual ask. But by now the disciples knew His voice, trusted Him and obeyed.
How often do we long that Jesus would speak to us clearly, even audibly? His voice may be a still, small one - but it’s there.
The more we practice spiritual disciplines such as prayer, fasting, worship and reading the Bible - the more we recognise His voice.
Believers, through the Holy Spirit, have an understanding of the mind of Christ, (1 Corinthians 2:16) and we can trust God to lead us.
So… what’s your donkey? 🫏 What is God asking you to do that might be a bit ‘out there’ and strange?
Jesus said “my sheep hear my voice.” So have confidence that he will lead and direct you 🫶

Mark Walker shares with us from Mark 10:32-52.
He asked us “Are you asking God for the right things?”
The disciples James and John asked Jesus for glory - to sit beside Him in power. But Jesus answered with a question: “Can you drink the cup I drink?” They wanted honour… but they didn’t understand the cost.
Sometimes we ask God for things without stopping to ask why. Is it pride? Position? Power? Or a desire to really serve like Jesus?
👆The world says, “Climb higher.”
👇 Jesus says, “Go lower.”
To be great in His kingdom is to become a servant. To lead is to lay your life down.
Honour in the Kingdom looks like humility, not status.
So before you ask, ask yourself this: Am I ready to take the cup?
“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” Mark 10:43-44
