Mark Walker shares with us from Mark 10:32-52. He asked us “Are you asking God for the right things?” The disciples James and John asked Jesus for glory - to sit beside Him in power. But Jesus answered with a question: “Can you drink the cup I drink?” They wanted honour… but they didn’t understand the cost. Sometimes we ask God for things without stopping to ask why. Is it pride? Position? Power? Or a desire to really serve like Jesus? 👆The world says, “Climb higher.” 👇 Jesus says, “Go lower.” To be great in His kingdom is to become a servant. To lead is to lay your life down. Honour in the Kingdom looks like humility, not status. So before you ask, ask yourself this: Am I ready to take the cup? “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭43‬-‭44‬
